-

Are you in the Helsinki region for NORDEEP - Nordic Deep Tech Startup Summit this September? How about participating in VTT LaunchPad's appreciated Meet & Greet the day before?

The science-based incubator VTT LaunchPad delivers VTT’s strategy to renew industries and society by spinning off companies built on VTT’s technologies. In the incubator, we bring VTT researchers and IPR together with the best business minds and investors out there.

We are excited to invite you to hear our current incubation teams pitch and meet both them and some of our alumni! The event is organized close to the location of NORDEEP. Due to limited seats, in-person attendance is reserved for investors.

WHEN?

Pitching incubation teams:

  • Calciner – integrating methods related to the electrification of industry and the refinement of carbon dioxide, offering solutions for carbon-neutral and even carbon-negative products.
  • Granarium – stabilizing fluctuations caused to the electricity grid with an electricity storage that combines the best properties of a supercapacitor and nanocellulose.
  • Happy Plant Protein – reducing energy usage and high investment costs by efficiently turning legumes and grains into nutritional high-protein and high-fiber textures.
  • Helix Superconductors – offering quantum-limited parametric amplifiers, a superconducting technology that addresses one of the biggest challenges in quantum computing: high-fidelity qubit readout.
  • HYGRON – environmentally-friendly membrane technology designed to power next-generation hydrogen fuel cells, zero energy buildings, and industrial carbon capture systems.
  • Hypermine – minimizing environmental impact and maximizing resource recovery in mining with a unique laser-based hyperspectral mineralogy sensing technology.
  • Mukava – tackling issues in the measurement of biopotential signals with novel dry electrode technology.
  • PEMEL – modernizing green hydrogen production by creating a novel electrolyzer system designed for mass production.

Participating alumni:

  • Enifer - transforming circular economy by-products into planet friendly protein.
  • Flow Computing – boosting CPU performance by 100x by creating a new type of parallel computing IP.
  • HTM Solutions - specializing in non-invasive human thermal status monitoring through software solutions.
