About the webinar

The energy sector is entering a new era of complexity. As digitalisation and electrification accelerate, the resilience of critical infrastructure is under growing pressure. Disruptions can come from many directions, from cyber incidents to extreme weather and geopolitical events, and preparing for them requires a new, integrated approach.

Ensuring reliability and security is not only about preventing failures, but about building systems that can recover and adapt. It calls for collaboration between researchers, operators and policymakers, as well as continuous testing and investment in preparedness.

In this webinar, experts from VTT and Fingrid share practical insights into strengthening resilience across the energy value chain. The session highlights real-world examples and lessons learned on how to anticipate threats, secure critical functions and maintain trust in an increasingly electrified society.
