The membership supports VTT's diversity work and highlights the importance of the technology sector.
"Membership in the Women in Tech community is one way for VTT to highlight the importance of diversity. According to several studies, diversity in the personnel of companies increases the innovation capacity of companies. Through membership, we are involved in activities that highlight opportunities and career paths in the field of technology, especially from the perspective of women, while at the same time supporting the visibility and importance of the entire technology sector", says Kirsi Nuotto, VTT Senior Vice President, Human Resources.
Women in Tech consists of activities organised by the Federation of Finnish Technology Industries and numerous partners and member organisations within the network, the aim of which is to inspire more women in the technology sector. Members organise events, such as Women in Tech breakfast dates and workshops, and also have the opportunity to take advantage of the wide network of the Women in Tech community.
