Timo Kakkonen has been appointed as VTT’s Vice President, Sales and Customer Partnerships starting from July 1st 2022. Timo has a proven track record in leading and developing multi-team sales organisations and has successfully been leading one of VTT’s Sales teams since 2020.
“Timo has a wide and successful experience in leading and developing sales and people. He quickly adapted into VTT and has shown his ability to drive business while keeping true to VTT’s values. Timo’s experience in the new CRM-launch, with user experience focus, was also a contributing factor when choosing the best candidate for this position. In sales we will of course continue to further develop seamless co-operation with research areas, and our main focus will be in our customers. The position of VP, Sales and Customer Partnership became open in the beginning of June and we got more than 60 applications.
