IEEE FLEPS 2024 Workshop analysing how Circular and Sustainable Electronics can be designed, manufactured and transferred into successful business.

WHAT?

The workshop aims to explore how circular and sustainable electronics can be designed, manufactured and transferred into successful business in alignment with the EU environmental agendas. It will cover the topics of ecodesign, circularity, digital product passports, resource efficiency and renewable materials for flexible electronics.

HOW?

The workshop will kick-off with a plenary presentation from high-level policy maker Sirpa Pietikäinen (Member of European Parliament). Thereafter we will hear examples of technical advances enabling the sustainability leap for flexible electronics industry. Finally, industrial examples of implementation of sustainable approach will be given.  Presentations will be followed by a facilitated, interactive brainstorming session on case scenarios of circular business models for electronics.
