Dorothee Barth

Originally an engineer of cybernetics (control theory and applied math), I have applied these concepts in biotechnology for the last 20 years.

Currently I am project manager for three jointly funded projects: EU Project PRIMARY, which aims to empower farmers and bring value to underutilized agricultural side streams, Business Finland funded project Fantastic Fungi on organic side stream utilization through filamentous fungi and Suomen Akatemi funded project MIDAS on digital tools for microalgae cultivations.

Previous projects include Business Finland funded projects ROBA on technologies for robust algae cultivation systems and CERAFIM on cellular agriculture for the production of proteins and lipids.
