Anne Lönnqvist

Anne Lönnqvist leads the Electromagnetic Security Technologies portfolio in VTT's Digital Infrastructures research area. The area develops solutions in next-generation secure connectivity, cybersecurity, electromagnetic security, data spaces, hybrid computing, and quantum software algorithms and applications for the telecom, public safety and defence sectors. Anne is an experienced research leader with a strong background in managing research teams, as well as planning and implementing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects. She is particularly interested in multilayered telecommunications systems and sensor solutions, which leverage data analytics and artificial intelligence to create innovative solutions for the needs of businesses and society.
