Every year we offer truly meaningful summer traineeships where you can challenge yourself and build your career in a multidisciplinary community of nearly 2400 brilliant minds from 60 different nationalities. At VTT, we transform global challenges – from climate change and resource sufficiency to industrial renewal and smart healthcare – into sustainable growth with the latest and best tools of science and technology.
We offer summer traineeships in all our three business areas: Carbon neutral solutions, Sustainable products and materials, and Digital technologies. All the summer trainee positions will be published on this page at the beginning of the application period. If you’re interested in multiple positions, remember to apply separately for each role.
VTT Summer of Changemakers traineeships are paid, full-time, and typically last 3–6 months. Start dates and duration are flexible.
If you’re moving from abroad, we’ll support you with relocation, including immigration assistance, registration with Finnish authorities, tax card applications, and opening a bank account.
