Our business network management methods and tools help customers analyse the current state and development needs in their networks and broader business ecosystems. For instance, a visual network picture supports discussions and joint development in the business network, showing the actors and connections, e.g. the exchange of goods, services and knowledge between parties.
In the bcurrent networked business environment, the success of a single firm is dependent on its capabilities to collaborate with its suppliers, customers and other stakeholders. Successful implementation of open and networked collaboration models offers several benefits to our customers as well as customers' customers; it increases revenues and growth and creates new business opportunities. Business network management tools support network orchestration and enable the commitment of all actors within business ecosystems and networks.

Research and design of business networks and ecosystems within different industries
We acquire beneficial customer and partner insight for our customers, facilitate the building of business relationships and help companies find new partners. As a result, the companies are better able to integrate the competences of their network members in order to provide customer-specific solutions.
Open and networked innovation has recently been one of the most significant research areas and in the next sheet mentioned case reference from the Networked Innovation (NI)- project is a good example of practical results in this area.
Regarding the management of service networks, we have published a workbook (In Finnish), Palveluverkoston kehittämisen työkirja, as well as summarizing the results of our study in several blogposts
Furthermore, we have been exploring swarms and ecosystems in collaboration in a multidisciplinary project in order to find new approaches for quicker networking (for results, see: http://prezi.com/nod7mpbbprjt/?utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=copy&rc=ex0share).
Exploring further collaboration opportunities
We are actively developing our own competences as well as long-term collaboration models, and have for instance launched the General Finland Initiative to boost a business ecosystem of SME companies targeting new international markets. The For industry- programme and "pk-lähdöt" are other important examples of our resources for business network development.
Teknologiateollisuus ry, Tekes, FIMECC Oy, Teknisen kaupan litto ry, and Suomen Kuntaliitto are our key partners within this research area. Business network management tools have been applied in companies and networks operating in the technical trades, automation, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, the well-being, trade, consultancy (KIBS), construction and real-estate, and public organisations.
