We provide comprehensive research facilities and versatile equipment to measure energy use and emissions from engines or complete vehicles simulating real-world duty cycles taken from both on-road and non-road applications. Running tests with complete vehicles is more cost-effective than testing stand-alone engines, especially if in-use vehicles are involved.
Our portfolio of exhaust emissions measurements include a wide variety of methods and specialised analysers for on-line determination of regulated and several non-regulated components in exhaust gas, as well as the classification of particulate emissions by size. We have accreditation to perform testing for type-approval purposes regarding both non-road and on-road heavy-duty engines as well as passenger cars.
Promoting the deployment of alternative fuels is an essential measure in the widening of the energy basis and securing sustainability in the transport and logistics of the future. Alternative fuels and as well as assessments of total fuel pathways and energy chains from well-to-wheel are also covered on systems level.
