Meet the speakers:

Cecile Blilious, Head of Impact and Sustainability at Pitango Venture Capital

Cecile is the Head of Impact & Sustainability at Pitango Venture Capital, Israel’s largest VC, where she is responsible for adapting the worlds of ESG and the SDGs to the framework of mainstream venture capital. Cecile has extensive experience in the combination of the impact and technology worlds for almost 20 years. Previously, Cecile was the Founder and Managing Partner of Impact First Investments, Israel’s first impact-tech investing company. 

Before that, Cecile managed the Noaber Foundation’s Israeli investments and held executive positions as a founder, CEO and board member in several startups. She was one of the initiators of the Al-Bawader private equity fund, the first investor in Arab-founded startups. 

Inka Mero, Founder and Managing Partner at Voima Ventures

Inka Mero is an experienced entrepreneur, company builder, VC, angel investor, and a new business executive. She’s currently the Managing Partner at Voima Ventures, a 50 million VC fund focusing on deep tech. Her passion and expertise are in the new global digital and technology business build – from startups to big corporations. 

During her career, Inka has founded seven technology growth companies and invested in twenty-two. Her board work at Fiskars Plc, Nokian Tyres Plc, and YIT Plc enables her to bring in strategic and international expertise on digitalization, new technologies and driving entrepreneurship, agility and fast execution in big corporations. 

The From Lab to Market event series is organized by Aalto Ventures Program, VTT Launchpad, Aalto Startup Center and Aalto Innovation Services, in collaboration with Helsinki Think Company. Investment events are organized in collaboration with Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN) and Finnish Venture Capital Association (FVCA).
